I was looking through my phone and I got a news notification about a school shooting in Dixon at the High School, the kid shot an officer and the officer shot back but the kid suffered no major injuries, and the officer suffered none, thankfully the article says that no one else was hurt in the school, but looking it up there was 21 school shooting in 19 weeks where someone got hurt, more than one shooting per week

https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/02/us/school-shootings-2018-list-trnd/index.html

from the website above I found out some of the dates of the shootings that happened during those 19 weeks, the dates are below.

May 11: Palmdale, California

April 20: Ocala, Florida

April 12: Raytown, Missouri

April 9: Gloversville, New York

March 20: Lexington Park, Maryland

March 13: Seaside, California

March 8: Mobil, Alabama

March 7: Birmingham, Alabama

March 7: Jackson, Mississippi

March 2: Mount Pleasant, Michigan

February 27: Norfolk, Virginia

February 27: Itta Bena, Mississippi

February 24: Savannah, Georgia

February 14: Parkland Florida

February 9: Nashville

February 5: Oxon Hill, Maryland

February 1: Los Angeles

January 31: Philidelphia

January 23: Benton Kentucky

January 22: Italy, Texas

January 20: Winston Salem, North Carolina

This was the date of the shootings of the first 19 weeks of 2018 alone. some on the same days as other's, and most of them had at least one thing in common with the other, there were multiple shootings in one state such as Mississippi or Alabama, all in different cities, the fact that all of these involved teens As the shooter and the victim. Most school shootings were caused by kids that were bullied but no one did anything about it they didn't even pay attention, so as a statement for people to pay attention they shoot up schools. This is one of the main reasons why the law of educators to carry firearms, I feel like instead of educators carrying firearms for the safety of the students and themselves the school districts should try to be there for those who are bullied. Bullying happens in front of our eyes but we don't even notice, a matter of fact some people actually laugh. My response to that is. People, there is such thing as anonymous help, helping from the background, or physically helping. Most of the time the bullies were at a time bullied so I would think that after all of these shootings parents would be paying more attention to their children.
