Yes, No, Legalize Marijuana, So?

Hey, so today we are talking about the pending law to legalize marijuana. I am totally against it, who the hell in their right minds would want to legalize it, yes I get that people can't get jobs if they went to jail for selling this drug but instead of legalizing why not have the businesses stop looking at the record and automatically rejecting them because they have a record for selling it, there is absolutely no reason to legalize an already dangerous drug. I know that you cannot overdose on marijuana, there are many pro's and con's on legalizing marijuana, I am only writing about the con's. So it has come to my attention that many people in low income neighborhoods cannot get a job because of their record, But I feel it is not as much because of their record as it is because of their skin, I am not being racist but I know I am not the only one who notices for example an African American is likely to spend more time in jail for selling drugs than an Caucasian American, I asked my class and almost all of them are not against it. 8 out of 10 think that Marijuana should be legalized, Now I will tell all of the con's that come with legalizing marijuana:

1. It will make it easier for minors to get a hold if it

2. It will lower grades for collage students, and many other people

3. it will force gang members and drug dealers to find a stronger, more dangerous, and even more addictive drug

4. Why I am against it

starting with number one on the list. How many of you people can safely say you saw a minor approach someone and if they can go in and buy them some cigarettes, and how many times have you seen someone actually go in to get said cigarettes for these minors. what makes you think this scenario won't continue with this new legalized drug, and yes some people think that Marijuana is harmless but they are not thinking about what could happen under the infuence of this drug, under the influence you are not thinking clearly, yes in most scenario's it will make you tired but, in the number of people who don't get tired, just think, I am gonna make up a scenario, You are a teacher and you just found out that the school is giving you a 30 day notice (if that even exsists), you are one of the small amount of people who don't get tried, you are not thinking right, and you have a permit to hold a firearm (I am not going to talk about the also pending law on educators having firearms) you are not thinking straight, and let's add that you were already an odd teacher, but anyway, you can actually enter the school with said firearm and walk into any classroom or hallway, now you have the choice to do the right thing and just get your stuff, but once again you are not thinking straight and you are filled with anger so still not in your right mind, you actually pull the firearm out of its holster and pull the trigger. I don't know about you but I think about the things that could happen.

Now onto reason number two, Persuasivness, teens that go to parties already have to deal with the weight of their friends trying to persuade them into drinking, now with weed in the picture there will be more weight on their shoulders, and they might actually cave in. The most prominent reason that collage students start smoking weed is that the it helps with stress, but it will become addicting because with the marijuana in their systems they will feel absolutely stress free. It is said that Marijuana kills brain cells so it is likely that the collage students will stop getting good grades, likely not proven, just like cigarettes.

Reason number three, that fact that drug dealers and gang members are already making money by selling marijuana and other drugs that might I add are highly addictive, if Marijuana is legalized they will have to find or make, more addictive and way more dangerous drug, so there will be another deadly drug on the streets so the legalizing of marijuana won't really take drugs off of the street.

And last but not least My reasons. Finally. I feel like If marijuana is legalized then it will lead up to other drugs being legalized such as Heroin or Crack Cocaine, I feel like it will lead to other more dangerous finds.
